Northampton Abington Community Association

Abington and Kingsley Pensioners' Voice Group
Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month from 10am to 12 noon.
A programme of speakers is arranged from ideas given by members and topics range through finding solutions to pensioners problems, to more lighthearted items including hobbyist and activities.
Coach outings are a popular activity,
and again members decide on destinations like
seaside trips or visits to stately homes.
During the winter month's theatre trips are arranged.

Campaigning for a better deal for pensioners, who lose out because of the complexity of our old age pension system, is a vital part of our activities. Members often attend council and public meetings locally, and the national lobbying of Parliament,

where we join other pensioners' groups from all over the country.

Nationally Pensioners Voice has been active since 1938, and still it needs to be heard.

New members are always welcome to join us.

If you would like to know more or want to join then please contact Joyce on 01604 408189.
